Handmade wool (including Alpaca wool) dryer balls will last a very, very long time. Mine are 12+ year and counting and showing no signs of wear. If anyone tells you different, ESPECIALLY if they say "months" and not year, you are being hoodwinked.

I think Luxury is grotesque, obscene, repulsive, disgusting. There is no life in Luxury. Just gargantuan amounts of waste.

It's been 80˚ all this week in Pittsburgh, PA. It's April, not August. When are weather people going to stop saying "unseasonably warm", and start saying something like; "Due to human fueled climate change, this is the new normal. And you should not be happy about it"?

You should never have to "Opt-Out" of any marketing or advertising. Everything should be "Opt-In". And Companies should ONLY use your info for the sole purpose to whcih you give it to them.

We typically prefer the lie, as it allows us to not deal with the truth. Which can be very difficult to hear, or even understand.

Recycling is not the answer, it's a last resort. Reducing consumption, concious usage, and reuse, are.

Wouldn't it be great if this was a thing:
Health companies have 45 days to send you a bill for services, or otherwise the bill is reduced by 5% for every week after until the bill is sent out, or the cost is reduced to zero. And this penelty cannot be added into total cost.

Nothing is not without negative consequences in some form. The goal is to minimize those consequences to as close to nothing as possible.

Did you know that glass is not a disposable item? Yup! Glass it made to be re-used until it breaks, and then recycled. If you buy items in a glass jar, just to recycle the jar (don't toss it you foolish human!!) once empty, it's (most likely) more sustainable to buy (with deep pain to say this) plastic.

The best way to reduce your garbage / recycling bill? Reduce the amount you are throwing away! And maybe partner up with a neighbor to combine trash. Less waste = Less Ca$h from your pocket.

Garbage and Recycling fees / taxes should not be lumped into property, or other taxes. They should be separate.

Linen is NOT cotton. Linen is Flax. If it says "Linen" and anything else besides "Flax", you are being lied to.

"Do Not Litter" signs are everywhere, and fines are posted along with them. But there is trash everywhere, all the time. Where is the enforcement?
