• "TRASH FREE DORMONT": Dormont Trash Clean-ups Every 2nd Saturday!

10+ years and over 25 sections of trash-picking-road experience, we pick up trash every second Saturday in the Dor! (Barring bad, or too cold weather.) Mainly the length of W. Liberty from end to end in Dormont with PA AAH.

When more volunteers help, we pick up further into Potomac and residential areas!

NOTE: Picking up trash is NOT the answer. It's just a band-aid. What really needs to happen is for ALL OF US to reduce trash output through a bevy of ways in the first place. If you want to learn how you can reduce you trash output, please reach out to us via our contact page and we will help you as much as we can to help YOU reduce you trash output!! And save some money in the process!

• FREE EDUCATIONAL & INFORMATIVE GROUP DISCUSSION WORKSHOPS:

FREE "in-a-circle" educational, informative, workshop, question answering, idea generation, collaborative open discussions (not just one person talking) about anything and everything zero waste & sustainable. All for the purpose of assisting all of us in making more sustainable choices!

Currently being held at:

- Dormont Library: The Last Saturdays at 9am: "Sustainable Saturdays"

A Zero Waste & Sustainable "Advice" column. Not a bad idea, but it didn't get any questions sent in! And you kinda need that for such a project. It's, as of this writing, still up, just not doing anything: Ask ZIEROS!

X FREE COMMUNITY COMPOSTING PROJECT VOLUNTEER @ THE DORMONT COMMUNITY GARDEN!

Volunteered at the garden to maintain the 3 bin, low commercial temp composting project, and educate the Dormont community on the basics of composting. All for FREE!

Zero Waste Enthusiast Group / Homebrew Sustainability Club... you name it!

Are you building your own path to being more Sustainable? Zeroing in on Zero Waste? Removing plastic from your life? Reducing your Rubbish? Refusing killer conveniences? Or working on some other Mean-Green efforts?

Or perhaps you want to be, but don't know where to start, and want other humans to connect with about it?

If so, you might like to come to a gathering of people with like-minded interests. Find answers to questions, exchange information, swap ideas, talk shop, help work on a project, take the first step, whatever...

We are getting together January 22 2026 at 6:pm right here at ZIEROS (2810 W. Liberty Ave in Dormont) (next door to the e-charging station).
