All sales are final (mic drop)... with some exceptions.

We are not a Big Box store where we can allow customers to return anything willy nilly. It would ruin us!

A lot of our items are hand made and it's impossible to prove it wasn't used, or otherwise contaminated, once purchased. Given that, if an item is sealed (like our tooth tabs) or can be visibly inspected and resold (like our hemp totes), and proven that it is in the exact same condition to which it was purchased, then and only then we will be able to issue a refund.

ALL refund decisions are left up to the collaborator (staff) at the store at the time of attempted return.

ALL attempted refunds require a receipt, or the order number on the receipt.

PRICES SO SUSTAINABLE THAT WE CAN'T POST THEM!!

Better products typically cost more for varying reasons. With that in mind, we do not agree with the pricing strategy of "charge as much as you can", and in the same breathe "charge more for this product solely because it's vegan, organic, sustainable, green, zero waste..." and so on. To the contrary.

We are on a relentless and endless quest to seek out any-which-way-we-can, to charge the customer less, for the best possible zero waste and sustainable products that we can acquire, or make, to then offer to our customers. Never to investigate how we can charge the customer more.

Our Take-Back Program

We think it should be a standard practice that businesses who sell something, take it back at their end of life, and not pass the buck onto the customer to figure out what to do with it once used. Therefore...

We have a take back program where we take back ALL packaging, and the products (with exceptions) that we sell at their end of life, for processing!

We take back for reuse, composting, recycling, and at last resort, disposal, all of our products packaging, and most of the products at their end of life. Items we cannot take back currently due to contamination and the fact we have no process for them are items that have food on them, or items that have visibly unknown contamination or stains.

So bring your packaging, and used items (with exceptions) back to the Zieros shop for processing!

It is suggested that you have a receipt with you, or the order number on your receipt, when you bring an item back for processing. If we can't prove that your item came from us, than we will 100% need a receipt for a take back, or we will refuse to take it back for processing as we cannot prove that it came from us.

While there is potentially an endless amount of products we "could" bring into our shop, there are currently a handful of items that we purposefully do not carry for a myriad of reasons. They are as follows...

• Fabric Softener & Dryer Sheets:

These are unnecessary to wash cloths effectively. Using dryer balls replaces both of these items.

• Ice / Snow Melt:

We currently do not offer any type of ice melt as we would need to purchase a full pallet. And we don't have the room, budget, or demand for it. Whatever you do, avoid rock salt at all costs. It's destructive to all things it touches. There are multiple less harmful options out there.

• Pencils:

There are multiple options out there for a more sustainable pencil. But we suggest that if you need a pencil, go to Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse (PCCR) first beefore you buy a new one and pick one up! They have lots!

• Pens:

The best type of pen is a refillable one. NOT a disposable one. But we suggest that if you need a pen, go to Pittsburgh Center For Creative Reuse (PCCR) first before purchasing a new one and pick one up! They have lots!

• PVA Washer Sheets and Pods (for Cloths):

Unless a new way has been created to hold these sheets together (the same with Pods), we will not sell them as they contain PVA / Poly Vinyl Alcohol. Which is a plastic. And PVA does not biodegrade. It just breaks down into smaller and smaller pieces.
